Artist in Residence
Dovetail Wood Arts hosts up to two craftspersons/artists in our Kensington studio workshop. This residence is unique in that each arrangement is designed specifically around the residents’ capabilities, goals, time commitment or availability.
Artists are expected to commit a certain number of hours to Dovetail Wood Arts during business hours that may include assistant teaching, materials preparation, maintenance, small batch production and marketing activities. Residents are granted a monthly stipend and have mutually agreed access to the workshop outside of normal business hours.
