Kensington Neighborhood Series: Transformation

Kensington Neighborhood Series: Transformation

On my daily commute I pass under a bridge that many of the homeless call home. I was reminded that this was in fact a community unto itself. The people are bound together by poverty, addiction, hunger and disease. I wanted to somehow capture their humanity.

Whatever dysfunction may exist there, I have to trust in the idea that a collected group of individuals can support each other through change.

Here, an ash log from the tranquil countryside, combined with resist media and fire, becomes a vessel depicting transformation.

Return & Refund Policy:

You can return anything for any reason by writing us within seven days notifying that you would like to make a return. Our only exception to this policy are the Natural Edge “Studio” bowl selections that are finished to order (Sprout, Seedling, Saplings & Canopy).

In the event that your purchase arrives damaged, you will need to send supporting photographs. Your money will be refunded upon the safe receipt of the piece back to Dovetail Wood Arts. The shipping of artwork is a delicate process, so we ask that you please return the product in the packing it was received, or similar suitable replacement. Tree bark can be fragile and may detach from a rim. Whether bark stays attached or not depends on variables that Dovetail Wood Arts can not control.

Return shipping fees will be at the customer's expense. A 10% restocking fee may apply for certain items.
